My name is Bente van der Meijden. Since 2020 I am working in Mangochi as a AIG. Here I have met many young people with a lot of potential to support the health care system in the future. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship, many of them never have the opportunity to make it. Peace is one of them, she is coming from a family where her mother and sister are both already working within the health care system. Her sister is working in the hospital with children with cerebral palsy and her mother is one of the cleaners, through them I have met Peace. Within their family they are always supporting others and being there for families in need but unfortunately they could not manage to get Peace to a next education and this opportunity through I step up foundation is going to make a big impact not only on the family but also all the people she will help.
